What the Abbey Apartments might be like …
If you are getting older you will be able to rent one of the 16 purpose built extra care apartments. It will be built to be accessible and you’ll have your own front door, an open plan kitchen/dining/living room, bathroom and bedroom. In addition, there will be:
Someone on site all through the day and someone to check you’re okay each day. At night time there’ll be an on-call service.
An opportunity to have a regular meal in the dining room or you can cook for yourself in your own kitchen.
If you need more care, you’ll be able to buy this in yourself, from the New Abbey partner care service or elsewhere.
Somewhere for your family to stay when they come to visit.
